Sustainable Development is how we live today to protect the planet for future generations. We should meet our immediate needs now without compromising the survival of future generations, it is vital we approach economic development in a way that does not impact the quality of life of future generations and the environment.

MPave Ltd recognises that we has an responsibility to protect the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements whenever realistically possible.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral, honest and ethical part of our business strategy and operating methods.

To be sustainable we need to balance the 3P's (Planet, People, Profit) If our business focuses only on the Planet and People we will not be able to make a Profit this would mean unemployed workers and job losses this is a social factor that can create a negative impact on our Company our Employees and our Customers.
Our profits are easy to measure however our impact on the planet and people is more complex, therefore we are in the process of created a EMS to show our impact on the environment and on society. This will be available as a report on our website from the last quarter of 2024, this is our pledge to offer transparancy within our company and to support a sustainable future within our workplace.

Responsibility
We have a qualified Sustainability Manager who is responsible for ensuring that our sustainable development goals are implemented, however all management and employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure that the aims and objectives of this policy are met.

Paper
We will:

Minimise the use of paper in the office.
Seek to buy recycled and recyclable paper products.
Reuse and recycle all paper where possible.

Energy and Water
We will seek to:

Reduce the amount of energy used as much as possible.
Switch off lights and electrical equipment when not in use.
Adjust heating with energy consumption in mind.
Take energy consumption and efficiency of new products into account when purchasing them.
Office Supplies
We will:

Evaluate if the need can be met in another way.
Evaluate the environmental impact of any new products we intend to purchase.
Favour more environmentally friendly and efficient products wherever possible.
Reuse and recycle everything we are able to.

Transportation

Promote the use of travel alternatives such as e-mail or video/phone conferencing.
Maintenance and Cleaning

Use cleaning materials that are as environmentally friendly as possible.
Only use licensed and appropriate organisations to dispose of waste.

Work with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors to improve their environmental performance.
Use local labour and materials where available to reduce CO2 and help the community.
